Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to the questions patients ask most before their first visit.
Do I need surgery for sciatica or disc pain?
Many patients do not. A non-surgical pathway, including ultrasound-guided injections and regenerative treatment, is often considered first. Surgery is discussed only when it is truly the better option.
What is Plasma Lysate injection?
It is a regenerative injection given under ultrasound guidance. It is intended to reduce inflammation, support repair of damaged tissue and help relieve pain.
Is the procedure painful?
The injection is performed with ultrasound guidance and local numbing where appropriate, so most patients tolerate it well. Prof Sultan, an anesthesiologist by training, places comfort and safety first.
How many sessions will I need?
This depends on your condition and response. A plan is agreed with you after the consultation and reviewed at follow-up.
Will my insurance cover treatment?
Coverage varies by policy and clinic. Contact the clinic and the team will help you verify insurance before your visit.
Where are the clinics?
Prof Sultan sees patients in Dubai Healthcare City, at Emirates Specialty Hospital and Westminster Multispeciality Clinic. Services are available in Dubai only.
How do I book an appointment?
Call or WhatsApp +971 55 267 7405 (Westminster Multispeciality Clinic) or call +971 800 444444 (Emirates Specialty Hospital).
Are results guaranteed?
No treatment can guarantee results. Responses vary between patients, and every plan is individualized after assessment.
